The six Tawjihi fields

These fields apply to: Grade 12 from academic year 2025/2026 onward. The list follows the instructions recorded in the site rules.

Under the two-year system, your field fixes the four grade-12 subjects and may include a science or humanities-group choice plus one further examinable subject.

The examinable subjects

You choose your fourth year-two subject from this list. It is one list, the same for every field, and each subject on it is out of 175 marks, exactly like the fixed subjects.

How you qualify for a field

Qualifying for any field is passing year one and nothing else: every grade 11 subject must reach 40% of its maximum. No field has a minimum mark of its own.

What the field changes about your average

The field fixes the four year-two subjects but does not change the arithmetic: each is out of 175, so 700 marks become 70 points of your average, added to 30 points from year one.

How the average is calculated · Calculate your average

This page describes the subjects in each field. It does not cover university admission requirements, which come from the universities themselves. The calculator is unofficial and anticipated, and does not model the التكميلي resit.
